LAUGHTER IS THE BEST MEDICINE

Image
Once there lived a grumpy king. He never used to laugh nor allow anyone in the kingdom to laugh. One day a small boy couldn't control his laughter. Later, scared of the punishment he thought of a plan. He wrote a funny story and converted it into a drama. Then he went to the palace and asked the king, "May I present my drama to you?" the king let him do it. Then the boy started the play. In the end, he came to the funniest part of the story which made the king laugh. All people present in the court were amazed. The king then allowed everybody to laugh. Everyone then lived happily there after.

It was a fine day during the rainy season. A peacock was dancing happily in a forest. Suddenly he reminded of his ugly rough voice. His face turned pale and his eyes started watering. Suddenly he saw a nightingale sitting on a nearby tree and singing. Listening her the peacock lamented what a sweet voice she has, which everybody loves and praises but when I utter a sound everybody makes fun of me. UNITED WE STAND DIVIDED WE FALL

Once upon a time three sons were engaged in merchantable business under the supervision of their father. They were very rich. Each son was proficient in his own department. If one was good in sales, the other one was competent in purchases and similarly the third one in finance. Unluckily, one day the father got bed ridden and the sons decided to divide the business under the fallacy that each of them was experts in their own way and can handle their individual business solely. The father was glum and grumpy with their decision but was helpless and unfortunately the separation took place. As a result three of them became each other's competitors. With the passage of time, they started having huge losses in their respective businesses. They tried all possible ways to succeed but the situation became worse. Then they came to their father for a piece of advice. The father said "when you all were doing the business jointly, the business ran successfully. But it was not any one of

One day a boy was caught stealing onions from a vegetable shop. He was taken to a judge. The judge gave him three choices; eat all the onions in one go, submit to a thousand lashes or pay fine. The boy without thinking said that he would like to eat all the onions. Very confidently, he started eating the onions but after eating a few, his eyes began to burn, his nose started running and his mouth felt as if it was on fire. The boy asked for the lashes instead but after a few lashes he couldn't tolerate the pain. So, ultimately he said that he would pay the fine. Now he understood that one should always think before speaking. 😍😍 ..........................................................................................................................................................................

An Old Man Lived in the Village

Image
An old man lived in the village. He was one of the most unfortunate people in the world. The whole village was tired of him; he was always gloomy, he constantly complained and was always in a bad mood. The longer he lived, the more bile he was becoming and the more poisonous were his words. People avoided him, because his misfortune became contagious. It was even unnatural and insulting to be happy next to him.  But one day, when he turned eighty years old, an incredible thing happened. Instantly everyone started hearing the rumour:   “An Old Man is happy today, he doesn’t complain about anything, smiles, and even his face is freshened up.”   The whole village gathered together. The old man was asked: Villager: What happened to you? “Nothing special. Eighty years I’ve been chasing happiness, and it was useless. And then I decided to live without happiness and just enjoy life. That’s why I’m happy now.” – An Old Man   Moral of the story: Don’t chase happiness. Enjoy your life. ........

The Greedy Lion

Image
It was a wonderfully hot day, and a lion was very hungry.   He came out of his den and searched here and there.  He could only find a small rabbit.  He caught the rabbit hesitantly.  The lion thought, "The rabbit can't fill my stomach" was about to kill, so a deer ran away.  The lion has become greedy.  He thought;     "Instead of eating this little rabbit, let me eat a big deer."     He let the deer go and followed the deer.  But the deer had disappeared into the forest.  The lion now regretted leaving the rabbit.     The moral lesson of the story:   A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.

Having a best friend ❤️

Image
A story tells that two friends were walking through the desert. During some point of the journey they had an argument, and one friend slapped the other one in the face. The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying anything, wrote in the sand;   “Today my best friend slapped me in the face.”   They kept on walking until they found an oasis, where they decided to take a bath. The one who had been slapped got stuck in the mire and started drowning, but the friend saved him. After he recovered from the near drowning, he wrote on a stone;   “Today my best friend saved my life.”   The friend who had slapped and saved his best friend asked him;   “After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand and now, you write on a stone, why?”   The other friend replied;   “When someone hurts us we should write it down in sand where winds of forgiveness can erase it away. But, when someone does something good for us, we must engrave it in stone where no wind can ever erase it.”    Moral of the story:  Do
